DUBLIN, Ireland - In a bid to enhance it service offering for its clients, Dublin-based technology firm Logicalis has announced fresh investment and new jobs.
Logicalis Ireland said that the company will now undergo a digital transformation, for which it has invested 1 million euros into its operations.
The Sandyford-headquartered firm, which boasts of clients like RTÉ, Musgrave Group and AIB, will be creating 25 new jobs following its latest investment of funds into the company.
The tech firm has already expanded its product range and has started the expansion of its client services team now.
Andrew Baird, Managing director at Logicalis explained that the two key barriers to any firm's digital journey are "issues around security and the difficulty of integration with existing systems."
Baird explained in a statement, "We know from experience that in order to digitally transform a business, you not only need the latest apps and front end interfaces, you also need to invest in existing platforms so that they are able to support the increasing workloads, the new types of transactions and do so in a secure and compliant manner."
He further added that Logicalis Ireland's enhanced service, which include Backup as a Service (Baas), hybrid IT on-premise solutions, and Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS), will allow the company to better support its customer base in the country.
Commenting on the new jobs being offered, the company said that the new roles being created are based across a number of locations within Ireland.
Job openings are being created in the areas of generation managed services operations, infrastructure integration, hybrid cloud, IT security and business analytics are expected to be filled over the next two years.
Baird added, "We are delighted to be doubling our investment in cutting edge technologies and adding to the services team. Growth and change is vital to every organisation, and these additions will allow us to better support our growing customer base throughout Ireland."
