DUBLIN, Ireland - With tickets for his two Dublin dates being scrapped by enthusiastic fans within hours after going on sale, the star of The Greatest Showman, Hugh Jackman announced a third Dublin performance.
Jackman, who recently announced his The Man, The Music, The Show, earlier announced two Dublin dates for May next year.
His first Dublin performance was scheduled to be held on May 30, 2019.
However, he soon added a second date, after announcing a second performance at Dublin's 3Arena, on May 31, 2019.
Tickets for the show sold out immediately, leaving some fans heartbroken.
To appease his large fan base in Ireland, the Film and Broadway star has now announced an additional matinee performance, scheduled to be held at 2 pm on May 31, 2019.
During the show, the 50-year old star is set to perform hit songs from The Greatest Showman, Les Miserables and more from Broadway and film, accompanied by a live orchestra.
Tickets for the third show are set to go on sale on December 11.
As part of his world tour, Jackman will perform in The Netherlands, Switzerland, France, England before wrapping up the show in Ireland.
