Suspected bomb thrown at fornt door of home in Drogheda

CO. LOUTH, Ireland - The Irish army bomb disposal squad was summoned byGardai to a home atDrogheda, in County Louth,on Monday.

The alert followed the throwing of a suspected improvised device at the home which was occupied by a number of people, around 11:30am on Monday.

The device was thrown at the front door of the home in the Rathmullen Park estate but did not detonate.

Gardai did not comment on the incident.
