More than 1,000 cannabis plants seized in Waterford search

<p>CO. WATERFORD, Ireland - Two Vietnamese men remain in custody following their arrest on Thursday night in Waterford.</p><p>The men, aged 32 and 43, were arrested at an industrial property in the Waterford Airport Business Park, Co. Waterford around 6:00pm on Thursday night. As part of an intelligence-led operation Garda&iacute; from Tramore Drugs Unit, assisted by the Armed Support Unit in Waterford were executing a search warrant at the property at the time.&nbsp;</p><p>During the operation a substantial grow house was discovered. In excess of 1,000 cannabis plants at various stages of growth with an estimated value of &euro;800,000 were seized.&nbsp;</p><p>The two Vietnamese suspects are being detained at Tramore Garda Station.</p>
