Belfast Harbour ship searched in PSNI exercise

<p>BELFAST, Northern Ireland - Officers from C3 Intelligence Branch Ports Unit recently conducted a joint agency search exercise on &quot;L&rsquo;Austral&quot;, a cruise ship docked at Belfast Harbour, working in partnership with other law enforcement agencies with the aim of <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/KeepingPeopleSafe?src=hash">#<strong>KeepingPeopleSafe</strong></a> at local Ports.</p><p>It should be stressed this was a drill. The exact timing of when it occurred is unclear. Notification of the exercise was made by the Police Service of Northern Ireland on Monday on its Facebook page.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>In May 2011, l&#39;Austral joined Panant&#39;s fleet. The mega-yacht with 132 staterooms was built at the Italian Fincantieri shipyard and designed by Jean-Philippe Nuel.</p>
