CO CORK, Ireland - The Cork City Road Policing Unit (RPU) as part of a checkpoint operation on Thursday night has caught a person driving a vehicle while their license was suspended.

The motorist was driving a van when he was called in to the checkpoint area.

The RPU on checking found the driver was disqualified for 4 years.

A court appearance is in the works at which time fines will be applied, and no doubt an extension of the disqualification period.
