CO CARLOW, Ireland - A ten-year old boy whose bicycle collided with a jeep on Thursday has died at Temple Street Children's University Hospital.

The boy was critically injured in Thursday's collision which took place around 1:30pm in the Ballymartin area of Borris, County Carlow.

He was airlifted from the scene to Temple Street Children's University Hospital where he died on Friday.

Garda are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to this collision to come forward, particularly any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the area at the time to make this footage available to Garda.
