DUBLIN, Ireland - A man who was injured when his bicycle collided with a bus on Tuesday morning in Dublin, has died in hospital.
The road traffic collision occurred at Kilshane Cross, Newtown in Dublin 11 on Tuesday morning at approximately 7:20am.
The cyclist who was injured, a man in his 40s, was taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown with serious injuries.
He died on Tuesday night.
A technical examination of the scene was carried out by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Garda are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to come forward. Any road users who were travelling in the Newtown area from Kilshane Cross to Dublin Airport, between 7:00am and 8:00am on Tuesday morning, and who may have camera footage (including dash cam), is asked to make it available to gardai.
