DUBLIN, Ireland - A joint intelligence-led operation has been carried out by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, the DMR North Divisional Drugs Unit, and the Revenue Customs Service.
The operation, carried out on Wednesday, resulted from ongoing investigations targeting organised crime groups operating in the Kilmore area.
Investigators searched premises in the Kilmore area. During the course of this operation, suspected cannabis herb with an estimated value of €72,000 was seized by Customs officers.
Gardai arrested a 37-year-old woman at the scene and she was detained at Ballymun Garda Station.
She has since been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Investigations, gardai say, are ongoing.
