DUBLIN, Ireland - Monthly factory gate prices increased in Ireland by 0.2 percent in October.
This compares to an increase of 0.9 percent for October of last year, the Irish CSO said in a report published Monday.
The annual percentage change showed a decrease of 2.6 percent in October 2021, compared to a decrease of 1.9 percent in the year to September 2021
In the month, the price index for export sales increased by 0.4 percent, while the index for home sales increased 1.1 percent.
Over the course of the year, there was a decrease of 2.7 percent in the price index for export sales (this can be influenced by currency fluctuations) and an increase of 4.0 percent in respect of the price index for home sales.
