DUBLIN, Ireland - Three of the 4 people arrested during a number of searches in Dublin on Thursday, were released on Friday without charge.
Gardai say files are being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
A firearm was seized during the searches which took place in Finglas West, County Dublin.
Two women in their 20s, a man in his 20s, and a man in his 30s were taken into custody as a result of the searches, and the discovery and seizure of the firearm.
All four were detained at Finglas and Blanchardstown Garda Station.
On Friday the two women, and the man in his 30s were released. The man in his 20s remains in custody.
It is understood the man in custody is being held in relation to an incident involving a firearm in January this year.
Gardai say investigations are ongoing.
