The Department of Health has announced an extension to the term of appointment of a Non-Executive (Stakeholder) Member to the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC).
Ms Anne O' Reilly's extension commenced on 1 March 2023 and will end on a date not later than 30 September 2023.
The NISCC Non-Executive Member position attracts an annual remuneration of Pound 6,979 with a time commitment of 2 days per month.
This extension is made in accordance with the Code of Practice issued by the Commissioner for Public Appointments for Northern Ireland.
NISCC was established by the Department of Health to support high quality standards of social work and social care. The NISCC regulates workforce standards and promotes continuous training and learning of its members.
The NISCC Board comprises the Chair, 12 Non-Executive Members and 3 Executive Members (including the Chief Executive).
