CO DUBLIN, Ireland - A man in his 60s has died following a serious collision between a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer in Collinstown, Co. Dublin, on Saturday.
The crash occurred on the Old Airport Road (Collinstown Lane) at approximately 10:50am Saturday. Emergency services rushed the motorcyclist to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported.
The road was closed as Garda Forensic Collision Investigators conducted a technical examination. Local diversions were put in place while the scene was processed.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward. They are particularly interested in speaking to road users who may have been in the area between 10:30am and 11:15am, especially those with dashcam footage.
