CO ROSCOMMON, Ireland - A man in his 40s has been seriously injured following a single-vehicle collision on the R370 at Lurgan, Frenchpark, Co Roscommon, early Friday morning.
The crash occurred at approximately 6:00am Friday. The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was taken to Sligo University Hospital for treatment.
The road remains closed as Forensic Collision Investigators conduct a technical examination, with local diversions in place.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and have asked anyone who was in the Lurgan area between 5:50am and 6:10am Friday morning, or who may have dashcam footage, to come forward.
